New ‘Two Together Railcard’ can save couples a third on train fares

An new national railcard has gone on sale allowing two people travelling together to save up one third on train fares.

The 'Two Together Railcard' costs £30 and can be used on journeys after 9.30 am on weekdays plus all day at weekends and bank holidays. Both parties need to be named and photographed on the new card.

This is the first railcard to be launched for 30 years and the first open to all age groups.

The new card can be used to save money on standard and first class anytime, off-peak and advanced tickets for travel throughout Britain.

Purchasing  a railcard will also entitle the holder to participate in a range of money saving offers ranging from gym membership to dining out and holidays.
