Free delivery with Tesco Whoosh

For one week only Tesco are offering free delivery on Whoosh orders over £25. So if you find yourself running short of supplies whilst watching the World Cup or don't fancy venturing out into the rain then this is the deal for you. The free delivery will automatically be applied at check out as long as you have spent £25.

Tesco Whoosh allows customers to order a range of goods from their local Tesco store and they will be delivered from as little as 20 minutes, although this could be longer depending on your location. The delivery fee is usually £2.99. You will still collect Tesco Clubcard points with your Whoosh orders and it is worth noting that unlike a standard Tesco Online order, once you have checked out your order it cannot be amended or cancelled.

British Airways flight Sale

BA currently has a sale on selected Economy and Business European and Worldwide flights. The dates of travel for the reduced flights vary per destination, so it is worth using the BA fare finder to search for the best deals. The promotion ends on 25th June so you must have made your booking before then. There are also holiday packages included in the sale. With Business class flights costing as little as £119 each way to Ibiza and £120 each way to Palma the sale is worth checking out.

Although a BA flight may appear to be more expensive than the low cost airlines by the time you add luggage etc they are often comparable. For example:

1 return flight from London Heathrow to Barcelona on 1st November for 4 nights flying BA Club Europe will cost £325.05. This flight includes access to a lounge, priority check in and boarding, in flight food and drink, 1 cabin bag, 1 small hand luggage and 2 checked bags (32kg each).

A flight from London Gatwick to Barcelona for the same period with EasyJet will cost £416.90 by the time you've added the speedy boarding, extra leg room and luggage allowance to match the BA flight and of course you will have to pay for your on flight food and drink and there is no lounge access. Of course if you aren't worried about any of the extras and only want to take 1 small hold bag (15kg) then the EasyJet flights are only £175.95.

Free kids theatre tickets for London shows with Kids Week

Kids Week is back! Although really it shouldn't be called Kids Week anymore as this promotion now offers free kids theatre tickets for 6 weeks from 20th July to 31st August. How it works is for every adult ticket you purchase you can get a kids ticket for free. The kids ticket is valid for a child 17 years or under and if you want to take more than 1 child, you can purchase an additional 2 kids tickets for half price. The price of the ticket depends on the show.

The tickets went on sale on Tuesday 9th June and you can buy up to 10 tickets. You can get tickets for the big shows such as The Lion King, Wicked and Matilda as well as smaller productions like The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

McDonald's is running free fun football sessions for 5-11 year olds this spring/summer and if you attend a session before 31st May you will be entered into a draw to win a trip to the World Cup Final this summer. The sessions are taking place across the UK and you just need to visit the McDonald's fun football website to find a location near you. New sessions are released bi-weekly so it is worth checking regularly if there is currently no availability near you.

You will need to register for a session at least 24 hours before your child/children attend, each session is an hour long and is aimed at children with no or little football experience. There is a FAQ page on the McDonald's website with further information.

Free one day pass to Village Gyms

Free gardening workshops for children at Dobbies

Selected Dobbies garden centres are hosting free gardening workshops for children aged 4-10, every first Sunday of the month.

Those attending become members of the Little Seedlings Club and the workshops consist of activities and games that teach children about wildlife, plants and the environment.
