The John Lewis Winter Sale is now on, with savings on thousands of products across home and furniture, womenswear, menswear, baby and kids, electrical, beauty and fragrance, sports and travel, as well as toys and nursery.
The sale is promoted as up to 50% off selected products, however, when we looked, there were products with more than 50% off, including the Clinique Glowing Skin Must-Haves Skincare gift set, reduced from £175 to £65 (that's a saving of 63%!) so it's worth having a look around the website to grab yourself a bargain!

Boots currently has some great offers available on fragrances, including up to 50% off selected fragrances. Free children's coach tickets from National Express
National Express is currently offering 10,000 free coach tickets for children aged 15 and under who are travelling with a fare-paying adult.
Up to three children can travel for free per fare-paying adult between 11th December and 6th January. Tickets must be booked by 5th January.

London theatre tickets from just £10
Tickets cost £10, £20, £30, £40, £50 or £60, depending on the show, and there are no booking fees to pay.
At time of writing there were 19 shows with £10 tickets available, and a total of over 60 shows included in the promotion overall.
Shows such as Disney's The Lion King, Six, Back To The future, Wicked, Aladdin, Fawlty Towers, Mamma Mia, Matilda, Mrs Doubtfire, Les Misérables, plus many more are included in the promotion.

We all know how expensive it is to eat out, well Groupon have a great deal where you can buy a voucher for Toby Carvery and get up to 45% off the cost of your meal. There are 3 options available, a 2-course meal for 2 people for £22.99, a 2-course meal for 2 people and 1 child for £27.99 or a 2-course meal for 2 adults and 2 children for £32.99.
Your 2 courses can be either a starter and a main or a main and a dessert and the voucher is valid until 7th March 2025. Groupon are currently offering a great value deal for Harvester. You have the choice of the following:

and of course the bottomless salad is included.

Free gardening workshops for children at Dobbies
Those attending become members of the Little Seedlings Club and the workshops consist of activities and games that teach children about wildlife, plants and the environment. Each attendee will also be given a welcome pack with stickers and those that attend regularly will earn themselves certificates.

Blue Light Card now available for teachers
Teachers and supporting staff are now able to sign up to the Blue Light discount card. The card gives you discount online and in-store at popular retailers in the UK. Examples of companies that are part of the scheme are Asda, Deliveroo and Costa Coffee.
The card is £4.99 for 2 years and you can register online by visiting the Blue Light Card website. Those who work in State early years, primary, secondary and sixth form, as well as special schools, vocational schools, referall units and centrally employed are eligible. You will need to upload official work ID or a payslip that includes your name or school unless you work at a primary school where your work email will instantly verify you. Free cinema tickets for Sky Cinema customers
To claim the tickets you need to go to your MySky App and generate a code which you can then use to book your seats online at Vue. It is also possible to generate a QR code that you can take into a Vue cinema to purchase your tickets in person. Once you have the codes you have until the end of that calendar month to use them.
