Aviva has launched a new add-on to its travel insurance policy that will cover holidaymakers for volcanic ash disruption.
''The new policy, available from 1 June, is designed to offer customers protection should their holiday travel be affected by UK airspace, port or airport closure.
The add on cover will cost £5 per person for a single trip, or £10 per person for annual insurance and will only be available to new and existing customers who have purchased their policy direct from Aviva.
However, existing customers who want to benefit from the new cover have only 30 days to purchase the add-on direct from Aviva.'' (source Citywire)
