The app allows you to search through over 1,100 funds that are available through Fidelity Funds Network. The information available includes fund prices, performance over the past five years, the fund’s currency and the size and its annual management charge.
So after downloading and using the app we thought we'd share our initial thoughts on the "Good" and "Not So Good" of Fidelity International's new app:
Good
- It's free
- Slick presentation
- Quick access to basic information on all their funds
- Access to finance news and expert opinion
Not so Good
- No fund comparison tools are included which is a disappointment
- Unable to show the fund’s ranking against its peers (i.e its quartile ranking)
Hopefully a future update will address the issues above to make this an essential download for all iPhone / iTouch users within the industry.
