While we are all used to using eBay but there is a way to get second hand stuff even cheaper, in fact for free!
Freegle and Freecycle are sites which allow people and groups to give and get stuff for free from their local community.
These sites are all about reuse and keeping items out of landfills. Be it washing machines, sofas, dvds, office equipment, baby stuff, furniture or a whole host of other stuff.
These sites essentially direct you to local groups moderated by local volunteers where you can advertise items you don't want or request things you do. Membership to these sites is free. So sign up , get the newsletters, find your local group and find/list an item. Then arrange collection and save a fortune.
