
In this article, we'll guide you through some of the best student discounts in the UK, covering everything from fashion and food to technology and travel. Some of the deals require students to have either the Student Beans App or the UNiDAYS App, both of which are free to sign up to and give you access to hundreds of deals. Totum is another discount provider; however, it costs £14.99 a year, but does give you a government-approved ID card and the opportunity to earn cashback, as well as access to discounts.

Technology & Electronics discounts
Apple
Between now and 21st October 2025, you can qualify for a discount on selected Apple products or you can claim free AirPods and other Apple accessories with eligible purchases. You can buy online via the Apple Education Store, and you'll need to be a member of the Unidays discount scheme. To complete the purchase, you will need to provide your university email address as verification. If you have not yet started university or would prefer to buy in an Apple store, you can use your Student ID or your university acceptance letter to take advantage of the promotion.
Microsoft
Students can get up to 10% off selected Surface devices and accessories. You can also get Microsoft 365 Education for free, which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. More information can be found on the Microsoft website.
Samsung
For a limited period, Samsung is offering student discounts and cashback deals on a wide range of products, including phones, laptops, and watches. Like Apple, you will need to verify your student status and shop via the Samsung Student Store.
Dell
Dell provides up to 10% off for students who register for a free Dell account and verify their student status. Visit the Dell website to start saving.
Amazon Prime
Students can claim a 6-month free trial of Amazon Prime. Once the trial is over, students will receive 50% off the standard price of an Amazon Prime subscription. You must remember to cancel your plan by the end of the trial period if you don't wish to start paying. Take advantage of the trial period at Amazon Prime.
Instant Cashback and Discounts

Fashion & Retail discounts
ASOS
Students can receive 10% discount on their ASOS purchases. To qualify, you will need to sign up for an ASOS account and verify your student status. If you already have an ASOS account, you can link your student discount code to your existing account. To get started, visit the ASOS website.
Boohoo
Boohoo offers students 20% off everything on their website, including sale items. You will need to sign up for a Boohoo account and verify your student status via UNiDAYS. Sign up via the Boohoo website.
Boots
Get a 10% discount at Boots. To qualify, take your Boots Advantage Card and student ID into a Boots store to be verified. Once you have completed this step, all applicable purchases online and in-store will be automatically discounted by 10%. You will need to verify your student status every year from 1st September. Hollister
Until 22nd September 2025, Hollister is offering students 15% off their online shopping. Students will need to have a Hollister account and verify their student status via UNiDAYS.
IKEA
Until 19th October 2025, students can get £10 off when they spend £75 or £20 off when they spend £150 at IKEA. You must be an IKEA Family member to qualify and you will also need to verify your student status online. You will receive your money-off coupon that can be spent in-store or online.
It is free to become an IKEA Family member. To verify your student status, you'll need to provide your student email address, date of birth and the name of your university or college. More information can be found on IKEA's website.
JD Sports
JD Sports has 20% off all full price products (excluding Yeezy products) for students. The discount is available once you've verified your student status with UNiDAYS and you can apply for the discount on the JD Sports website.
New Look
Students can get 10% discount when shopping online and in-store at New Look. When shopping online. you'll need to generate a one-time use code with either UNiDAYS, Student Beans or TOTUM and enter it at the checkout. When shopping in-store, you'll need to present a valid student ID card. Visit the New Look website for more information.
Schuh
Get a 20% discount and double points when making an online purchase at Schuh. Simply sign up via Schuh Club Students to claim the discount and start earing double points. There are certain products that don't qualify for the discount, for example, UGG shoes aren't included in the promotion.
Superdrug
Get 10% discount at Superdrug. You'll need to sign up for the Superdrug health and beauty membership card. Then, just present it along with your student ID at the till to receive the discount. You can also get a discount online via Student Beans.

PizzaExpress
Students get 20% off their entire bill when dining in a PizzaExpress restaurant Sundays to Fridays. Alternatively, order online for delivery or collection and the 20% discount is valid every day of the week. You will need to get a discount code via UNiDAYS. Wagamama
From Sunday to Thursday, students can claim 20% off their entire bill when dining at Wagamama. You will need to generate a unique code from Student Beans, which you can then show to your server at the end of your meal. They are also giving away 50 katsu curries at every Wagamama restaurant on 27th September 2025, you will need your student ID and have downloaded the Soul Club app (the Wagamama loyalty app). Domino's
Students can get a huge 50% off at Domino's with no minimum spend. You can get a discount code from all the major student discount providers, UNiDAYS, Student Beans and Totum. The instructions on how to claim are on Domino's website. This offer cannot be combined with any other deals or bundles.
Travel & Transport discounts
National Express
National Express is offering students 25% off coach travel from Monday to Thursday and 15% off weekend travel. The discount can only be applied to Standard and Fully Flexible fares and there is a £1.50 booking fee. To qualify for the discount, you must have either a UNiDAYS, Student Beans or Totum discount card. Find out more at National Express.
16-25 Railcard
Although the 16-25 Railcard comes at a cost, £35 for 1 year or £80 for 3 years, it offers students 1/3 off rail travel, so if you are intending to make a few trips home to visit family or are planning on visiting friends at other universities, it is worth the investment. Fitness & Health discounts
The Gym Group
The Gym Group are offering students 20% off its 9-month and 12-month student saver memberships. This represents a saving of up to £85. Join The Gym Group and enter the code SAVE.
Fitness First
Students get their first month for £10 and then 25% off the monthly membership at Fitness First. There is also no joining fee. You will need to download a discount code from Student Beans before applying for your membership.
