Season 1 - Episode 3 - Scarlett Montanaro from Crack+Cider
Scarlett is without doubt one of the most inspiring people I have ever had the privilege to meet.
In this week’s episode of the OneGiantLeapPodcast.com Scarlett shares how a chance meeting with a homeless man inspired her to dream up the concept for Crack+Cider. What started out as a six week project to clothe London's homeless quickly caught the public's imagination and exceeded all expectations. The brand has since gone global, helping to clothe the homeless in San Francisco too. Scarlett's journey wasn't easy and she encountered a number of people who dismissed her initial idea.
When listening to Scarlett's story you will be inspired by how she has managed to achieve so much at such an early stage in her journey. She is proof that we can all change the world if we want to with little more than an idea, passion and a drive to implement it. The reward of any leap of faith doesn't have to be monetary. In Scarlett's case she tells a moving story of the moment when she realised that she'd made a difference to people's lives.
I hope you enjoy the episode.
