If you are a regular reader of this website you may recollect my original article regarding the attempted parking scam perpetrated by ParkingEye, PO Box 565, Chorley, PR6 6HT.
To summarise briefly, I bought a ticket for 4 hours parking but the machine had been tampered with and only provided me with 2 hours parking. I was then sent a 'Parking Charge to Owner' document and demand for a payment of £90.
You may also recall that the internet is awash with complaints against ParkingEye with my search having 10,500,000 results! Fortunately I still had my original pay & display parking ticket which upon closer inspection proved the scam. So I appealed against this charge and I have just received a short letter advising me that this charge had been cancelled, no explanation, no apology.
So please take my advise and do not use any car park monitored by ParkingEye, PO Box 565, Chorley, PR6 6HT.
They will try and scam you!!!!
