Black Friday Deals 2021

Black Friday Deals ImageIt's Black Friday, which means you'll see deals from almost every retailer - both good and bad.

On this page, you'll see a roundup of some of the best deals you can find, as well as what your favourite retailers are offering. You can find some analysis too as to how good each deal is.

Of course, make sure you don't get sucked into the hype of the day, and stick to a list if you wanted to buy something.

Prices may change throughout the day too, so do your own checks and price comparisons to make sure it's the cheapest price.

Dyson Products (Eg, Vacuum Cleaners, Hair Straighteners etc)

Dyson LogoThere are many different products in the Dyson range, and Black Friday is usually a good time to find them discounted.

From everything seen so far, there is only one product matching the cheapest price they've ever been. Everything else has not moved on price. We'll update with more if deals start to pop up.

  • Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum - £199 at Curry's (Norm £299)

Xbox & Playstation Consoles & Bundles

Xbox And Playstation bundlesUsually games console bundles are usually a big hitter on Black Friday, but for Xbox and Playstation bundles there are very few deals.

The next generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X), are still not in stock. It's not out of the question that stock may be released, however discounts will be unlikely.

Here are the Xbox & Playstation console deals we've spotted so far:

Xbox One Console Bundles - £249.99 (norm £249.99)

There has currently been no change on Xbox One Console bundle prices.

Most bundles include an Xbox One S including Rocket League & Fortnite for £249.99 (though both of those games are free to download on the Xbox store anyway).

Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset

Oculus Quest 2The Oculus Quest 2 headset has seen no reduction in price since its release - so we've been keeping an eye out for deals as Damien wants one!

There is an offer on the Oculus this Black Friday however, where you can get a £50 gift card when you buy one for £299. Effectively this drops the price to £249.

This is a deal at a number of retailers, and depending where you buy it from, depends on the gift card you get back. For example buying through Amazon gets you an Amazon Gift Card, John Lewis gift card for John Lewis etc.

Here are the retailers doing this deal. Be sure to check the T&Cs of each one, as some are different.

Popular Retailers

If you wanted to check out the offers at a specific shop, here are some of the round ups of the best deals they have.

Amazon - 20% Off Amazon Warehouse & Lightning Deals

How to buy Amazon sharesAmazon is one of the first retailers you think of when it comes to Black Friday - often matching or bettering prices from Prime Day.

All of the Amazon own brand devices are reduced to some of the lowest prices seen (see the Amazon Products above for a full run down).

Aside from that, you'll be seeing a few other deals on the retail giant's website:

  • 'Lightning Deals' - Limited time offers on random items, with new ones released every 15 minutes.
  • 20% Extra Off Amazon Warehouse - Amazon's returns section, where you can get a discount on returned items. Save even more with 20% off.

Argos - Toys 50% Off + 20% Off Code Stack, Price Matching Other Brands

Argos LogoArgos for Black Friday seem to be price matching other retailers on a variety of items including Echo Dots, Ring Doorbells and more. It's a shame, as Argos used to be one of the places that had exclusive deals.

One thing that does stand out this year however is its toy sale. Currently they have up to 50% selected toys, and a 20% off code which can be used on top.

It means that toys like Lego, Play-Doh and Chad Valley are all even cheaper. Use the code TOYS20 to get the bonus 20% off.

See the full range of toys here.

Asos - Up to 80% Off Clothes

Asos logoThis year, Asos is offering up to 80% off everything - which is the best offer that they have released on a Black Friday sale. Last year - it only went up to 70%.

This doesn't mean that everything is 80% off, and there are likely only few items that are - but it still makes it a good time to shop there if you needed a new wardrobe.

See what's included in the Asos sale here.

Boots - Discounts On Skincare, Perfume & More

Boots have never been a huge player on Black Friday, and this year is much of the same.

Some of the 'top deals' listed on the top of their website are a bit underwhelming, with promotions on Fitbits and electric toothbrushes which are still at similar pricing to before.

There are some good deals to be had however on skincare and perfume.

For the Boots brands No7 and Soap & Glory, it's the cheapest time to pick up a gift set as a Christmas present right now. Here are a few of the stronger deals:

The Boots Black Friday offers will last until Monday 29th November - with the majority both in store and online.

Halfords - £10 Voucher On £50 Spend + Black Friday Deals

Halfords LogoThere's a double deal at Halfords this Black Friday - with money off items now and later.

On top of its deals, if you spend £50 or more, you'll get a £10 E-voucher to use at Halfords with no minimum spend. You'll receive this voucher through email on 9th December and have until 24th December to use it.

The deals themselves at Halfords aren't wowing - but if you need things for your car, it might be a good time to get it. Here's a few deals of note:

Morrisons - Cheap Nintendo Switch, 75p Chocolate Orange & Half Price Breakfast

One of the surprises this year for a range of decent offers is Morrisons. There's a nice mixture of deals and most are quite strong.

It also includes probably the best one I've seen this whole Black Friday season that I'm sure everyone can get behind... 75p Terry's Chocolate Orange!

Here are the stand outs from the Morrisons Black Friday sale:

All Morrisons Black Friday deals are available until Sunday 28th November, but of course are also while stocks last.

Nike - Up To 50% Off + 25% Off Code

You'll need to have a Nike Membership account in order to get the 25% off code - but it's free to sign up.

As an example, you can get a pair of Nike Air Max 2090 for £77.97 (was £129.95 before discounts).

There are a variety of deals being offered, some of which are the cheapest seen those items. Here's some of the best ones:

You can see the whole range of Lidl offers on Black Friday here. They will all be available in store only while stocks last.

Odeon - 20% Off MyLIMITLESS

Odeon LogoOdeon might be a surprising retailer to take part in Black Friday, however you can find a deal on its unlimited annual membership.

myLIMITLESS gets you access to as many films as you like throughout the year - and has been reduced to £115 (was £150).

This works out to about £9.60 a month - which could be the price of just one cinema ticket for a blockbuster movie.

You also get perks such as 10% off food & drink along with your movies.

To see the full details, head over to Odeon's website.

Ryanair - BOGOF Flights & From £5 One Way

Uber Eats - 35% Off Food This Week

Uber Eats LogoFor Black Friday, Uber Eats is offering 35% off your takeaways at selected restaurants.

To claim the deal, you'll need to enter the code BLACKFRIDAY35 into the codes section of the app - giving you the offer.

You have until Thursday 2nd December to use your discounts. Head over to the Uber Eats app to get it.

Asda - £160 Nintendo Switch Lite & Other Dud Black Friday Deals

Asda LogoAsda was the place back in the day where there would be a tussle over TVs. Nowadays, more subdued Black Friday sales are what the leading supermarket is used to.

This year - quite a few of the 'deals' advertised can be found cheaper elsewhere. This includes:

  • Echo Dot 3rd Gen for £19.99 (cheaper at Amazon - £18.99)
  • Google Nest Hub Smart Speaker With Screen for £59.99 (cheaper at Curry's - £54.99)

That being said - there are a few deals which I found that looked good... but it's not for the things you might expect:

Maybe not your idea of a Black Friday bargain!

A+ for your pizza and Brita filter cartridges Asda... not for much else. See their full sale here.

Aldi - Not Offering Deals This Black Friday

Last year, Aldi were a good option for deals, but Aldi has confirmed this year that it will not be taking part.

There are deals at rival discount supermarket Lidl however.

Game - £5 Voucher On £50 Spend... But Dud Deals

game-logoIn years past, the best console bundle deals on Black Friday have been from Game. Its website used to crash over the high volumes of traffic.

This year it's a different story. It could be due to the shortage of consoles - but there are barely any 'deals' being offered.

Today you can get yourself a £5 voucher emailed to you next week if you spend £50+ & can also get a Nintendo Switch Mario Kart bundle for £259.99 (cheaper at Tesco in store).

Other deals are not marking leading, including its consoles and games - all can be found cheaper elsewhere.

See it's full sale here.
