As soon as you've booked a holiday, there are a number of things that you can do to make sure your trip is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Here are our top tips on preparing for your holiday:
Travel insurance
- Check that you have a valid travel insurance policy and that you understand the terms and conditions
- Take a copy of your travel insurance policy with you so that you have all the contact details if you need to make a claim
- If you don't have travel insurance already then read our articles '12 top tips for taking out travel insurance' and 'Best travel insurance providers in the UK'
- The quickest and easiest way to purchase a travel insurance policy is via a comparison site such as Quotezone* as you are able to compare multiple travel insurance policies at once to suit your trip. One thing to consider before purchasing via a comparison site is that not all comparison sites are whole of market which means you may be able to get a better deal elsewhere with insurers that aren't on comparison sites.
