  • 1% cashback on all spending at ASDA
  • No fee
  • £20 back in Asda Pounds when you open a new credit card by 5 December 2023, spend £50 and set up a Direct Debit in the first 60 days

Cons of the ASDA Money credit card

  • If your card hasn't been used for 12 months or more, any cashback that has not been moved to the 'cash pot' in the rewards account will expire

How does the ASDA Money credit card work?

The ASDA Money credit card is available for UK residents aged 18 and over and pays 1% cashback on ASDA spending. Eligible ASDA spending includes ASDA supermarket purchases, ASDA online purchases, ASDA fuel and George clothing. ASDA Travel Money purchases are not eligible for cashback. Customers can also earn 0.3% cashback on all other non-ASDA spending.

With cashback and reward credit cards, we would always recommend paying off the balance in full each month to avoid paying any interest, as any interest you pay is likely to outweigh the cashback rewards.

ASDA Money sign up bonus

New ASDA Money customers can get a £20 bonus in ASDA Pounds if they apply by 5 December 2023. They will need to spend £50 on the card and set up a direct debit to pay the bill each month – for the minimum payment, full balance or a fixed amount – within 60 days of opening the account. Any cash advances or balance transfers will not count towards the £50 spend. The £20 bonus will be paid within 90 days of the account opening.
